TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY I M TEMPLE ©2008
This article, was born out of the frustrations of an American who always votes and is tired of the fraud, excuses, and being blamed because others may have had an unfortuante event occur during ones lifetime, or to their relatives long ago.
Although this writer believes in always helping others when the need arises, we can only do so much. As the old saying goes, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink.” Seems to me that this is just what our politicians, and many non-profit organizations, seem to bedoing.
Should we help those that need it? Certainly. However, if they won’t help themselves and constantly blame others for their problems, then we need to show some “Tough Love.” We need to teach them, and hopefully get through to some, that they can achieve whatever it is they desire when they are willing to work, believe, and sacrifice to reach those goals. And that most others they blame had nothing to do with the certain events during their lifetime.
I want to set the stage for a grassroots organization that will make a positive difference in my country. By keeping you up on daily events that infringe on our rights, I hope you will be convinced that “Together” we can keep our city, state, and federal government officials on their edge of their seats and honest. If this sound like something you would be interested in getting invovled with please don't hesitate in emailing me.
Also, I would like to hear what or how you feel about a National ID Card. Many feel it’s socialist. And I guess, maybe, they are right. But, many who wish to enter here illegally, vote illegally, or do whatever it takes to have what they want, then I fear we have no choice. How many times have you had to have ID to go into a business?
As for mysel, I don’t have a problem with carrying an ID card. For if it will help to keep us safe, protect our borders, and to make sure of those who run for government offices.
