Kim Tara Tabie gets the part of Belle at Walt Disney World's Live Show

Two weeks ago, it was announced that 24 year old Kim Tara Tabie, would perform as Belle in Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage. The stage show is set at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and it's in this park where the Toy Story Mania ride is placed. In the show, expect for her to sing, dance, and act, the way the beautiful cartooned Princess in the movie.

Kim Tara Tabie is a young vocalist who grew up in the Sacramento, California area. She grew up to two parents from Manila, and she was taught to do what other Filipinos do; sing. The Filipinos and the African American singers are known for their strong and powerful voices, and Kim was lucky to have been given the trait that her country is known for. After many years of success in her school plays, she decided to try auditioning for a part in a Disney Cruise Line as one of the performers because of her love for Disney. She officially got the part as Belle on the Cruise just by singing and performing, but they said she would be better off performing at Walt Disney World because the Cruise Line wasn't necessarily looking for another Belle, as they already had a few. She was then flown to the Orlando to begin training for all kinds of song and dance numbers, and has successfully taken half of the shows throughout the day, as the Beauty And the Beast Live On Stage performs numerous times a day.

Kim will be singing all the songs from the show, and you'll find yourself singing along with this wonderful actress and vocalist. Many singers have tried out for this role, and while many women today are currently understudies of the main actress, Kim was lucky enough to gain the main role.

Kim says that she loves the show because she gets to sing live without any lipsynching, so she's able to perform the way she's always wanted. Even though she has succeeded on getting the part, she still asks her vocal coach, Gale Scott McCann Faverella, to come by once in awhile to get her voice in shape and healthy. Alongside the coach is her mom, Myunghee Chun Kim, who drops by to watch her daughter perform as much as possible inside of the Disney park.
