The Amati family continued to refine and develop the violin’s design until the 18-th century, when Antonio Stradivari built a violin that formed the basis for all future models. Another great violin makers in history are Gasparo da Salò, Giovanni Maggini, Giuseppe Guarneri, and Jacob Stainer of Absam were some of the earliest noted violin makers.

Learning how to play the violin can be a difficult but rewarding experience. Playing the violin takes a large amount of knowledge and skill. Holding the violin properly is very important.
