How To Write Your Content In Your Trifold Brochure

by Janice Jenkins | Marketing and Promotion > Switch Category
One of the most used hence, the most common brochure printing is one that applies a bifold, tripanel brochure generally known as the trifold brochure. It is folding an 8 ½ by 11 sheet of paper twice to create three panels on each side of the brochure. Why is it very popular? Because one can easily stuff it inside a standard #10 envelope and mail it to their target clients.

But having to prepare your text that would be incorporated in your trifold print brochures takes a little bit of trick to keep it short and sweet. Remember that your reader should be able to grasp your main ideas right away even if they just glance at your brochure. If you bury your message inside a very thick and dense text, then you can very well lose the chance of getting a passerby or any of your target clients to get your message without having to work through your words. If it is too much work to get to your message, then it is probably not worth to pick them up in the first place.

Generally, here are the guidelines you need to pick up yourself if you want your brochure printing copy to pique the interest of your target clients.

1. Speak directly to your target audience. Do not put too much mumbo-jumbo to what you really want to say. The shorter it is, the faster it will be for your target readers to get your point.

2. Use headings and sub-headings so you can organize your ideas into groups. This way, you help your target readers focus on items that would be of interest to them without having them go through your entire brochure.

3. Stop using jargons and acronyms. This is even if you are also sending your print brochures to people in the same industry as yours. Always write your copy in a way that even the most regular guy can understand it. Use clear and precise language that anyone can understand easily.

4. Use a visually appealing cover. This means that you have to provide a front cover that has enough information to encourage your target clients to open your brochure printing piece and read on.

5. Provide a back cover that carries your contact information. Just remember that if it is anything important then it should be at the front. The back cover is the panel that people are least likely to read, so if you put important information here, it would just be lost to your target readers.

6. Use your inside front panel to summarize the reason why your reader should choose you. Hence, this panel is the most important in the whole of your brochure. It would also be good if you put a glowing testimonial in here. We recommend that you write this panel last so you can easily summarize all you have to say in your inside spread.

7. The inside spread gets your message fully. This is where you explain and expound on your ideas. Write your full descriptions here and tell about who you are and what you can do to encourage your target readers to engage in business with you.
