How to Plan a Beach Wedding on a Budget?

by Nick Jackson | Relationship > Switch Category
No matter whether you want a small intimate beach wedding on a secluded tropical beach, or a large gathering with all your friends and family present at a coastal resort, before you book the venue and send out the invitations, you’ll need to plan a budget for your beach wedding. The best way to start planning your budget is to look at how much money you’ve saved for your beach wedding. Obviously, the more money you have available, the larger and more luxurious your beach wedding can be. Once you’re clear on how much money you’re able to spend, start making a list about everything you want at your wedding. At the very minimum, you’ll need to plan for your wedding license and the services of a minister or officiate. Next, you need to add all your other requirements for your beach wedding to that. If you want to get married at your local beach, with all your friends and family present, your budget will have to accommodate your venue and the wedding party afterwards. However, if you want your beach wedding to be a private affair at a luxury resort on a tropical beach, your budget will look very different. You’ll need to include the costs of your flight and hotel, and if you’re traveling to a foreign country, you’ll need to look into the costs of possible visa and inoculation requirements.

A large portion of your beach wedding budget should be set aside for your wedding gown. Most brides want a special wedding gown and the costs will mainly be determined by your personal taste. A custom-made designer gown will cost more than a white beach dress. Decide what you want to wear, research the costs and include your wedding gown, as well as the bridesmaid dresses and groom’s tuxedo in your budget. If you want to exchange wedding rings at your beach wedding, the same rule applies. Choose your rings, and include the costs of the rings themselves, as well as any engravings you want, in your budget. Other things to think of when planning your beach wedding budget are invitations, limo services, floral arrangements, wedding photographer, wedding decorations, music, catering and of course the costs of the venue itself. Whatever you plan for your beach wedding, make sure to stick to your budget so you can enjoy your beach wedding without any financial worries at all.
