Do Chinese Women Feel Embarrassed To Accept That They Are Beautiful

Chinese women are considered to be amongst the most beautiful females on Earth by a majority of men. However, most often when a Chinese female is complimented for her looks, she seems to feel embarrassed or even ashamed to admit the fact openly. Surprisingly, despite believing themselves to be quite beautiful, Chinese females do not feel comfortable acknowledging it as a fact. A majority of people take it as an indication of the modesty of these oriental ladies. Unfortunately, not many people know the real reasons that make these oriental ladies disregard their most valuable asset.

Chinese women, having lived in a traditional and conservative society for ages firmly believe that sharing their personal feelings with someone will only make them vulnerable and may result in pain and disillusionment. As such they are used to concealing their emotions not only in a verbal manner but also through their facial expression and behavior. Thus being secretive about the fact they are well aware of their beauty has become a part of their personalities. Moreover, when someone praises them for their beauty, they feel guilty about having unknowingly giving vent to their most intimate and secret feeling of being beautiful. This is specifically true for women, belonging to rural areas or females who have not have a chance of frequent interaction with people from outside their community.

Another major reason that makes Chinese women shy away from openly accepting themselves to be beautiful is the fact that these women are rarely considered beautiful by the men from their own culture. The looks and the complexion of these women from east that stun and mesmerize numerous men from around the globe are often ignored as quite ordinary and even ugly. After being ignored by their men for generations, Chinese females naturally feel diffident and incapable of winning the love of men especially with the help of their looks and beauty.
