Gardening is one of the most fun and rewarding things that I like. Gardening can be enjoyed by the whole family including children. Especially plants like fruits and flowers. Many people are interested in gardening, but do not know the basics on how to get started. To get started, you should decide on what type of garden you wish to plant. Choose between a vegetable and flower garden. The next step requires that you prepare your spot for planting and prepare the soil. You must remove all grass, weeds, stones, etc. Location is important when growing plants that need sun, as is shade when it is required for survival. When this is done, you can till the garden area and add nutrients like compost, manure, peat or sand to the soil.
