by Edward Phillips
Category : Education

Artificial intelligence has found widespread use in biometrics. Fingerprint readers are commonplace and are extensively deployed in access control systems. Robotics is one of the exciting areas of artificial intelligence. As of now, robots are assisting humans in automating factory operations. Robots are also used in mines and restricted places.

Is it possible to make an artificial intelligent robotic android assistant with a sense of humor? Soon, AI software engineers will create joke recognition systems, where the computer will understand irony and know when the human is telling a joke, then reciprocate with a joke of their own, perhaps creating a joke.

We're still not able to produce a program or a robot that can think or act human. But we may be closer than most realize. There are some examples of the latest progress. ‘Cognitive robotics’, Researchers in this discipline seek to build software that can perform complex, intuitive cognitive tasks the way humans and animals do, ‘data mining’ programs sort through large amounts of data, analyze it, and pick out relevant information, and There are several projects in the works to build an ‘artificial brain’.

Today we most commonly find that applications on the Internet, like search engine, autonomous operation and interactive eLearning systems.
