Hydrogen generator

Category : Automotive

Rise in the price of gas every year and it is expected that there will be a time when it will be really difficult for us to run a car on gas. The price of crude oil in the international market is $140 and is expected to exceed $200 by the end of this year. Vehicle owners suffer from increasing prices. Right now a new technology promises to burn water for gas and thus saves money.

When you apply this technology, you build your own hydrogen generator and connect it to your engine. The process itself is neither expensive, nor complex. In fact building a hydrogen generator is quite simple and - with proper guidance - can be done without mechanical skills. The hydrogen generator separates water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. The generated gas is called Brown's Gas and basically is what allows you to burn water for gas. Brown's Gas is directly injected with the normal fuel and greatly improves the efficiency. Therefore it can improve your mileage by up to 50%. The water used in the water powered engine is used for the sole purpose of harvesting hydrogen which is then combusted. The combustion from the hydrogen is then used to power the car. Minor changes have to be carried out to make a car run on water A water tank is needed to electrolyze the water Then a transport system is needed for carrying the gas to the engine. A lot of money can be saved with this a one time small investment. It also protects the environment from pollution.

Essential part required running the car on water is the transport system that is the main engine. An additional supplement is essentially required where the transported gas will burn and produce energy. Hydrogen acts as fuel and oxygen acts as oxidant. Once the hydrogen is burnt, water is released. This technique is cost effective and it has huge saving potential in the long run.

Another way of building a hydrogen engine is by adding a fuel line heater and an additional device that will enable the oxygen sensor to acknowledge the type of fuel we are trying to use. Once it gets successfully installed, we can make the car run on water without making any other alterations in the vehicle.

The advantage of this technique is that it is does not produce pollution as much as conventional gas based engine. It is also cost effective and it has huge saving potential in the long run.
